I bought these bulbs 2 years a go and they have dried up since I neglected to plant them... Idiot! I'll have to buy them again and try next year.

Orchids I want!

Since Dad has generously offered to buy me some Lady Slippers of my birthday I decided to order some other orchids at the same time, you know, to justify the cost of shipping...

the beginning

the first garden I can remember my father and I planning together was when I was 19 or 20 (so 2002-3?) We laid the pathways and the stones around the back door of the house and I even built a make shift wicker fence to keep out the horse and straying cows... I think that was the first year we had heirloom tomatoes too but maybe Dad has something to say about that. We had a beautiful bed next to the well filled with deep red nasturms and huge basil plants, and spears of jutting red gladiolas.
